The District Chief Executive for Tolon District Assembly, Hon. Braima Seidu, has raised serious concerns over the behaviour of some members of the NPP youth in the Tolon constituency, particularly their criticisms of the NDC government’s performance.

During an interview on Radio Tamale’s “Chache Baribi Filla” programme with Sadiq Gariba, Hon. Seidu expressed disappointment with the actions of certain youth members, describing their conduct as provocative and counterproductive.

He pointed out that these criticisms are often unfounded, especially given that they are criticizing the current government for issues that the previous NPP administration failed to address.

If the previous government was able to do what they are criticizing, I would have been building on that. But now, they are criticizing what they did not do, and it’s not fair, he asserted.

Hon. Seidu emphasized that such behaviour is fueling public anger and creating division, which hampers the party’s efforts to promote its agenda and foster unity in the community.

It’s not everything we use the media space to destroy. If you see someone doing well, support the person, he advised.

He called on the youth to exercise restraint, conduct themselves responsibly, and reflect the principles of unity and progress. Hon. Seidu urged supporters to focus on constructive engagement, supporting positive initiatives that benefit the community rather than engaging in unnecessary criticism and provocation.
