The Member of Parliament for Nalerigu/Gambaga Constituency, Hon. Mumuni Muhammed Nurudeen, has cut sod for the construction of a new health facility at Langbinsi. The project will include an Out-Patient Department, Male and Female Wards, two Consulting Rooms, and other ancillary facilities, all aimed at improving healthcare delivery in the area.
This marks the MP’s third major initiative in the health sector within the constituency. His previous projects include the development of the Nalerigu Health Centre and the 70-bed Male and Female Wards at Gambaga Polyclinic, both of which are currently at various stages of completion.

Upon completion, the new health facility is expected to significantly enhance access to quality healthcare services for residents of Langbinsi and neighboring communities.
In addition to health infrastructure, Hon. Nurudeen launched the “Water for All” initiative during an event in Ghangu. In his address, he announced plans to drill 100 boreholes across the constituency during his first term in office, with the aim of improving access to clean water for residents.

Community members and stakeholders expressed optimism that these projects will contribute to the social and economic development of the Nalerigu/Gambaga area.
