The Member of Parliament for Sagnarigu Constituency, Hon. Attah Issah, has officially commissioned a newly constructed CHIPS Compound (Community-Based Health Planning and Services) at Kumbuyili, aimed at improving healthcare delivery in the area.

The commissioning ceremony, held on Thursday, was attended by local residents, health officials and community leaders. The facility is expected to serve Kumbuyili and its surrounding communities, providing essential maternal healthcare services and other medical support.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Attah Issah reiterated his commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure within his constituency. He emphasized that ensuring access to quality healthcare remains a key priority of his developmental agenda.

This new facility is part of our efforts to bring healthcare services closer to the people and to improve health outcomes in our communities, he stated.

Residents expressed their appreciation for the new health center, noting that it will significantly reduce the long distances they previously traveled to access medical care. They also highlighted that the facility would help improve maternal and child health, as well as overall well-being in the area.

The commissioning of the Kumbuyili CHIPS Compound marks another milestone in the government’s ongoing initiatives to expand healthcare infrastructure across the constituency, ensuring that underserved communities receive adequate medical attention.
